All it took was one phone call from the King to change the Cleveland Cavaliers way of thinking. Ever since Lebron announced last week that he was returning to the Cavs, the team has been in constant talks with the Minnesota Timberwolves regarding trading for Kevin Love. The deal has been pretty stagnant due to the fact the Cavs said they were unwilling to trade number one overall pick Andrew Wiggins. Apparently as of last night that has changed and it is all thanks to Bron himself. Hit the jump.

If the Cavs land Kevin Love in a trade it completely changes things around the NBA as a whole. The balance of power would shift in the east without a doubt and the Cavs would be able to beat any team from the west. They will have to do it without rookie phenom Andrew Wiggins however.
According to reports, Lebron personally reached out to Kevin Love to tell him how much he wants him to join him in Cleveland. The team is realizing when Bron talks you should listen and after he called Love, the Cavs said that Wiggins could now be included in the trade which has opened up talks again. You have to feel bad for Wiggins whose career could take a big turn if he winds up in Minnesota where they haven’t had a winning team in years. Being able to stay in Cleveland and play alongside Lebron could do wonders to enhance his already great basketball skills.
At the end of the day though this trade would put Cleveland on the cusp of a championship that they would not be ready for if they didn’t make the trade. Wiggins is a young star in the making but it seems Cleveland wants to win now and the likely best way to do that is to make the trade complete.
