A spokesperson for Atria Books confirms to Page Six that Lady Gaga’s former assistant, Jennifer O’Neill, has signed a deal to write a tell-all book about the musician.
O’Neill was Gaga’s assistant from 2009-11, during her Monster Ball tour. In 2011, O’Neill sued Gaga for $393,000 in overtime back pay.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that during the court case, some of O’Neill’s “duties” were spilled in court including being required to share a bed with Gaga because she didn’t like sleeping alone and being woken in the middle of the night to change the DVD in the player because Gaga didn’t feel like doing it herself.
In a deposition, Lady Gaga, called O’Neill a “f–ing hood rat who is suing me for money that she didn’t earn.”
The suit was later settled out of court in October 2013 for an undisclosed amount.
According to Page Six and The Mirror, O’Neill’s book deal could be worth $1 million. There is no title or publication date as of yet, but would you read a tell-all book about Lady Gaga? No? Then which celebrity tell-all book would you want to read? Let us know!
