To continue the the 20th Anniversary celebration of Nas’ debut album Illmatic, Nas held a contest for fans to collaborate and produce the official music video for “Represent,” a track off of the classic release.
Following the direction of filmmaker Jason Goldwatch, contest winner, Brian Katz and Nas shoot the video in YouTube Studios out in California with a thief of Baghdad concept in mind.
Nas’ re-release has been titled, Illmatic XX and is available now on iTunes.
