Scary! The owner of the famous bakery Buddy Valestro was rescued from a boat by NY firefighters today. Bobby and his family was rescued from firefighters after their boat became lost in heavy fog! One of the passengers on the boat said the “Fog rolled in like a wave, It was sunny one moment and the next you weren’t able to see what’s in front of your boat. Firefighters rescued the star of TLC’s “Cake Boss” reality show and his family on Friday night after they got lost while boating in foggy conditions and drifted into a heavily trafficked channel in New York Harbor.
Buddy Valastro, owner of Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, N.J., and his family found navigation nearly impossible in fog that was almost as thick as a good cream cheese frosting, sources said on Saturday morning. Firefighters Chris Tucker and Paul Patras, part of the FDNY’s Summer Boat Program, were called in to find a 36-foot Boston Whaler carrying four adults and nine children between the ages of 5 and 12 at about 9:30 p.m., FDNY officials said initially.
