When comparing his rising star power to that of his counterparts, Troy refers to fellow up and coming artists to having “Cop Syndrome”?? Watch the rapper break down meaning inside.
Troy Ave is really starting to catch fire. The underground rapper, who is recently starting to get more notoriety after being inducted to the 2014 XXL Freshmen Class, along with being one of the featured artists on the main stage at Hot97’s 2014 Summer Jam, tells interviewer that he’s doing everything he said he would do. He also goes on to mention, that the money, fame, and clout are not new to him. He’s been had that….according to him. Unlike some of his fellow counterparts who sufferer from “Cop Syndrome”. “A lot of [rappers] who they wasn’t nobody, it’s like the cop syndrome,” Troy Ave says.
Troy also touches on all the up and coming music projects he’s working on for 2014.
