Woo, the shots have been fired, and they’re going straight for the head! In the last couple of weeks, Meek Mill has released the first major single off his forthcoming sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money, as well as announced its September 9th release date. A marketing tactic used by the entire MMG team since their inception has been to have all of the label, their friends, fellow artists and influential media personalities share tweets and photos to help promote whatever project they’re focusing on, and it’s no different with DWMTM. However, one person who’s been noticeably MIA from all Meek-related promo has been his labelmate, Wale, and Meek is NOT happy.
Never one to hold his tongue, the Philadelphia rapper took to Twitter just moments ago, and let off some crazy shots Wale’s way, calling him a “cornball” and saying that he’s been hating on him for some time, while adding that he’s “not MMG.” Man! Something else funny about Wale is if you go to his Twitter page, you can see he’s been helping promote a ton of other artists! Could Meek have a point? It seems like it! I don’t know the status of Rick Ross’ and Wale’s relationship at this point so who knows if Meek’s “not MMG” claim will go anywhere, but I’m definitely interested to see how this plays out. ONLY SAV CAN FIX THIS! Ha!
I have Wale’s page open awaiting a response, so we’ll keep you updated!
