This is so sad! A family in Newark, New Jersey has to mourn the loss of 17 year old, Cheyanne Bond. She was shot and killed execution style in a random act of violence.

Bond and a friend were walking on South 17th Street in Newark and that’s when they told her to get on her knees. “They told her to get on her knees and they shot her execution style, just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time”, her uncle Michael Bond told WCBS. Bond’s friend, a 17 year old boy, was shot but he survived.
This horrible incident happened just 9 days after she graduated from Malcolm X Shabazz High School. Friends and family are still in shock and just can’t believe something like this took place. “She just graduated, she was about to go to college, she was a real nice girl, that’s why I never thought it would be her”. Friend Latayjsia Wilson explained. She was planning to be a nurse. So sad that a innocent life was taken away and nobody even knows why. SMH!
A surveillance camera caught two men walking out of that area after the shooting. Police is currently conducting an investigation.
