Not that this comes as much of a surprise but Beyonce is number 1 on Forbe’s Celebrity 100 List, which counts the world’s most powerful celebrities each year. Find out why Forbes gave Bey the number 1 spot after the jump!

Queen B even surpassed her King, Jay-Z, on the list who came in at #6 making an estimated $60 million this year. Well there you have it, who run the world?

Beyonce played 95 shows over the past year with each one bringing in an average of $2.4 million. Do the math. On top of that she released one of the most innovative albums we’ve seen in a long time, making it a visual album with a video already filmed for each song, and dropping it surprisingly on fans with practically no prior publicity.

Her single “Drunk in Love” has gone platinum and has sold more than 1 million copies and this is all just her music ventures. Let us not forget that Mrs. Carter is a business woman along with being an artist.

Bey earns millions through her endorsement contracts with companies like H&M and Pepsi. She also has a line of fragrances including her Heat, Rise and Pulse perfumes. Which smell awesome by the way, I own two of them (just saying). Then to top it all off she has her own clothing company, House of Dereon, where she designs jeans, shoes and accessories.

Put all of those endeavors together and in-between June 2013 to June 2014, Bey made an estimated $115 million dollars. Damn.
