Talk about being being creative. This Mexican drug cartel has put their art skills to use but unfortunately they failed the ultimate test when they were stopped by officials.
Officials stopped a suspicious tractor carrying what seemed like watermelons, on Interstate 19 near the south of Tucson, Arizona. DEA agents surrounded the vehicle, placed the packages painted as watermelons under X Rays before slashing them open and uncovering packages of marijuana inside.
“These criminals use a lot of unique ways to try to conceal their narcotics,” U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent Bryan Flowers told Fox News. “We’ve seen individuals use false compartments in the seats and gas tanks. We’ve also found marijuana in tractor trailers here before.”
