Can you believe it will be 5 years on the 25th since the King of Pop passed away!? In a recent interview with the NY Daily News, Prince Jackson speaks on the 5 year anniversary of his father’s passing, and possibly starting a career in what!? Hit the jump for more details.
“I would like to be a director one day. But to be a good director you have to know how an actor works and feels on set,” Prince, 17, said.
“I want to learn my craft and experience being in TV shows and possibly movies before I even consider going behind the camera.”
He knows what he want and he has no problem going after it. He already worked Entertainment Tonight as an “on- air correspondent” and had guess spot on “90210”. Prince also doesn’t expect any hand outs because of his dad, he knows that he has to work for what he want “I don’t expect to just walk into jobs or roles because of who I am. I want to learn my craft and work at being an actor,”.
When asked about his father’s anniversary, Prince became emotional.
“We want to keep my dad’s legend alive. He was the best father that anybody could have. He raised us the right way and there was nothing anyone can do to make us forget about him,” he said.

He paused for a moment, then added: “It’s tough. This will be the fifth anniversary of his death.”
With all the craziness that surrounds this family, it is great to see that they are still doing well!
