A Massachusetts man named Christopher Delcid, 21, is now facing child abuse charges for beating and pouring hot sauce in his girlfriend’s 4-year-old son’s mouth and taping it shut as punishment. Read more on the story after the jump!
Christopher Delcid not only poured the hot sauce in the 4-year-old’s mouth and taped it shut, but he also beat his girlfriend’s son with a shoe and a belt. The beating left the young boy with numerous bruises on his buttocks and legs. Delcid was arrested when the police found the young boy sitting by himself in an Extended Stay hotel room in Massachusetts, where he was staying with his mother, Delcid, and two other kids by the couple.
Police learned about the young boy being tortured with hot sauce after they asked him where the red marks on his face came from. Prosecutor Lindsay Shaheen says, “The boy told them the marks where from where the duct tape had torn at his flesh.” Delcid was being held on $250,000 bail, and the boy’s mother Katherine Rodriguez, was held on $100,000 bail for permitting assault on a child and abandoning.
