Back in 2010 Rihanna came out with the video for “Rockstar 101”. According to reports the songstress plagiarised the visuals in the video from an American artist James Clar.

Back in 2006 Clar had an art piece called “You & Me” which was made of neon tubes stuck to the ceiling and had more below handing spelling “You & Me”. Clar is claiming that the Barbados beauty stole the concept except she had the words “Rock” and “Star” instead.

Rih may have been lucky in the past with her lawsuits but maybe not this time as Clar is filing the lawsuit in France where the French Laws are more in Clar’s favour especially in a case on plagiarism.

Clar is looking to get $6.64 million from the Singer for damages.

This isn’t the first time Rihanna has been called a “copycat” or called out for plagiarism. Back in 2011, Rihanna was being sued by David LaChappelle for stealing the visuals and theme from him for her “S&M” video.
