On a flight from Boston to New York, a 3 year old was refused access to the bathroom from a flight attendant causing her to then urinate on herself. The Newton mom was flying with her two daughters from New York to Boston Monday. Their flight was delayed, and after 30 minutes on John F. Kennedy International Airport’s tarmac, Deveraux’s 3-year-old daughter, Summers, said she needed to use the bathroom.
When Deveraux got up to take Summers to the restroom, a flight attendant yelled at her and refused to let her out of her seat, she claimed. “And I said, ‘Please give me a break. My daughter had an accident because you wouldn’t let me take her to the bathroom. After I clean it up I will sit down,'” the mom told the TV station.
But the flight attendant reported Deveraux to the pilot, who drove the plane back to the gate.
Deveraux said the disgruntled pilot even announced to the flight that a “non-compliant” passenger was forcing them to turn around.
The unruly traveler would be turned over to security, he said.
Jetblue has responded on Twitter and said ” There are strict FAA regulations while the plane is on the tarmac, we will investigate situation.”
