After a continuos feud within the the Kasem family determining the well being of retired Radio broadcaster Casey Kasem during his last days, the judge has come to a ruling.
The judge has given Kerri Kasem, the daughter of Casey Kasem the authority on any decisions made on the hospitalization of the notorious radio host. This includes the stop of any artificial nutrition or hydration, which was an order she was in favor of.
Jean Kasem showed anger during the hearing, accusing the judge of signing the death sentence of her 82 year old husband. Yet the judge stated that she did not act
“in the best interests” of her sick, 82-year-old husband when she removed him from a “skilled” California nursing home at 2:30 in the morning May 7 against doctors orders and took him to a private residence in Washington State.”
