Controversy, Controversy, Controversy seems to be always attached to Lorde’s name in the media. This time Lorde is receiving some criticism from IT rap girl Iggy Azalea. Lorde recently covered a couple of Nirvana songs back in April at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and according to Iggy it was not “appropriate”.

Cover girl for the latest issue of Billboard Magazine, Iggy Azalea holds the No.1 and No.2 position on the Billboard charts, something that hasn’t been done since the Beatles.
In this issue Iggy talked about Lorde and her performance of some of Nirvana’s classics.
Iggy Azalea wasn’t afraid to show her disagreement with Lorde for performing the songs by saying,
“Nothing against her, but I think when you’re doing a tribute to someone that’s dead, generally it should be the person’s peer. Lorde is not Kurt Cobain’s peer. No matter if she killed the performance or not, I just don’t think it’s appropriate.”
Even though Lorde performed with the surviving members of Nirvana, Iggy still had something to say.
Lorde is known to comment back on anything that is said about her, however she has yet to respond to Iggy’s comments.
umm……wonder what Lorde has to say about this because she DID perform with the surviving members of Nirvana.. AND previously had Iggy’s back when the media was profiling and attacking the rapper…
