27 year old, Daniel St. Hubert has been arrested in the stabbings, ending the life of a 6 year old, and critically wounding another in East New York. St. Hubert was arrested around 145th Street and 133rd Avenue in Queens.
After his apprehension community member began celebrating the capture of the murderer around the 75th precinct, where the suspect is expected to be held for questioning. The suspect is being accused of murdering Prince Joshua Avitto and injuring his friend 7 year old Mikayla Caper, right around 6 p.m. Officials were able to capture the suspect after tracing his phone, and with the link of DNA.
St. Hubert was recently released from prison on May 23rd, and has had a history of aggressive behavior, including being on probation on assault charges, .
