Miami native Flo Rida was the celebrity principal for the day at Miami Edison Middle School this week, a reward awarded to the pupils to celebrate their victory in the Get Schooled Diplomas Now Attendance Challenge. He was joined by rapper Ace Hood and Gorilla Zoe as the three recognized the enormous efforts of students and staff at the school.
Just the night before, Mayor Oliver Gilbert presented the rapper with the first-ever key to the City of Miami Gardens, for his commitment to preparing South Florida Youth for success through his Florida Youth Football League and his various programs coordinated through his Big Dreams For Kids Charity. Congrats! Check out a few pics from both events in the gallery.
