Jay Z’s hectic month continues. Today, reports reveal that the Brooklyn boss and longtime manager, John Meneilly are going their separate ways. One source says that the move was not in Meneilly’s plans, while another says that the two parted on a positive note calling it, “amicable and mutual.”
The former Provident Financial executive remains one of the big names that has assisted Jay in the building of his empire. For more, hit the jump.
Meneilly has had a hand in the rise of the Rocawear brand and was one of the middle men between Jay and Samsung last year that sold more than a million copies of Magna Carta Holy Grail. Not to mention the label, Roc Nation. It’s safe to say that Meneilly have a hefty parting package.
