It’s not only a song, it’s how its going down. If you didn’t know, Jay Z was set to go to court to dispute claims that he stole the Roc-A-Fella logo. But, because of his “On The Run” tour with his wife, Beyoncè, and the fact that his lawyer claims that the trial is trivial, things have changed. Hit the jump for the full scoop.
According to HipHopDX, the lawyers say Jay is “one of the most prolific and hardest-working businessmen and recording artists in the world” and that the rapper’s tour, which is set to also feature his wife Beyonce as a co-headliner, is “a non-stop effort.”
Meanwhile, Dwayne Walker, a fashion designer and alleged creator of the Roc-A-Fella logo, says he wants $7 million for the creation of it. “For over 18 months Jay Z and the other defendants have done everything they can to avoid swearing under oath to the events that led to the creation of the logo,” says Walker’s attorney, Gregory Berry.
