Chip Kelly made the seamless transition from head coach at Oregon to the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and he brought his uptempo offense with him. It proved successful as the Eagles went from 4-12 to 10-6 and a playoff spot last year. Now the Miami Dolphins are hoping to have that same success using the Eagles type of offense.

New Dolphins offensive coordinator Bill Lazor spent last season as the quarterbacks coach in Philadelphia, and at least one player in Miami says Dolphins fans should expect to see a Chip Kelly-style offense.
A Dolphins player, who asked not to be named as the team keeps some of its offensive plans under wraps, told the Miami Herald that the schemes are like the ones the Eagles ran last year.
“It’s reminiscent of Chip Kelly’s offense in Philadelphia, with the tempo and style,” the player said. “There are some West Coast offense concepts. Some shotgun, some under center. They’ve discussed having both no huddle and huddle. It’s fast tempo.”
