Umm this is definitely creepy news of the day. A 17 year old teenager in Virginia was kicked out of high school prom for making boys have “impure thoughts”. What kind of bullshit is that, and even thought her dress was in accrodance with the school “fingertip rule” she was still considered out of dress code by the way she danced and the way her dress was on her body. A 17-year-old Chesterfield, VA., teen known only by her last name “Clare,” was kicked out of her prom after male chaperones complained that she would inspire “impure thoughts” from the boys at the dance. She made sure that her silver dress complied with the “fingertip rule,” and said she was just “swaying” to the music when she was asked to leave.

In a post written on her sister’s blog, Clare recounted the events leading up to her being ejected. “I was told that the way I dressed and moved my body was causing men to think inappropriately about me, implying that it is my responsibility to control other people’s thoughts and drives. I’m not responsible for some perverted 45 year old dad lusting after me because I have a sparkly dress on and a big ass for a teenager. And if you think I am, then maybe you’re part of the problem.”

She also pointed out flaws with the commonly used “fingertip rule,” and refused to be scolded for having a womanly body.
