Scheduled to be the main event at the Billboard Music Awards, the proposed Michael Jackson hologram performance has been halted. What’s crazy is the fact that the lawsuit wasn’t brought up by anyone in the late King of Pop’s family or estate, but by Alki David — the creator of the hologram technology. According to TMZ, “David says if Billboard goes ahead with the Jackson performance Sunday … it will destroy his plans for a similar, high-profile holographic MJ performance. He wants a judge to stop it.”
