The Buffalo Bills didn’t waste anytime trading their best receiver over the past few years after drafting Sammy Watkins last night. Watkins was rated by far the best receiver in the draft and that made Johnson open to trade. No reason to overpay Johnson when they can start fresh with the rookie who might actually already be better than Johnson. Overall, Johnson had 301 catches for 3,842 yards and 28 touchdowns in 75 career games with Buffalo. San Fran gets a nice come up at receiver without having to give much up. All they gave up was a late round draft pick next year. Another nice target for Kaepernick.
