After the world learned that racist Clippers owner Donald Sterling was banned from the NBA & he’s going to be forced to sell the team, numerous celebs came forward wanting to buy the team — including Floyd Mayweather. He’s super serious about buying it and did an interview recently where he revealed what the first move would be as owner. I think it’s going to be a long process before Sterling sells the team, but Mayweather could just be the one he sells it to (they have a good history together).

“First thing I’d do is not cover up the Lakers banners,” Mayweather said, referencing the Lakers championship banners that the title-less Clippers have hidden during their 2014 playoff campaign. “I think they should stand out. It makes the players hungry which will lead to championships.”
