Popular Chicago DJ, DJ Rashad has passed away. DJ Rashad was popular in Chicago “Footwork” Scene and many dance hall records. Sources close to the DJ says it was from a drug overdose. He was supposed to perform at an event yesterday until sources close to him found him dead. Rest well, man!
Though DJ Rashad was a more well-known figure in the dance music world, he had his fair share of friends and admirers in the hip-hop sphere. Yesterday, the 35-year-old DJ was found dead in his apartment, with narcotics and drug paraphernalia allegedly found near his body.
