Zachery Logsdon from Tennessee asked his mother for a few hundred bucks, she said no so he created this lie…
Logsdon is allegedly a heroin and pills abuser, he needed money for his next fix so he told his mother he was kidnapped. That he was being held against his will and if she didn’t give him $200 they would kill him.
Seems convincing eh? Well not enough because his mother didn’t believe that story for a minute. She then called 911 and the Knoxville police then set up a fake money drop to catch him in the act. Police officer Darrell DeBusk explained “Of course she didn’t believe him, he had done that previously. she said he does have a drug problem and has had one for quite some time”.
Logsdon is charged with resisting arrest and false reporting and have a bail for $3,500.
