Chicago has transformed to Chi-raq, but that definitely doesn’t mean there’s a need for anyone to attempt to bring an AK-47 on a flight. But unfortunately, common sense isn’t always common… just ask 23-year-old Adam Urbano. He’s currently in holding for trying to bring the soviet style assault rifle and three loaded clips on a Southwest flight from Indiana to Chicago.
According to Daily News:
Urbano was charged with unlawful possession of an assault firearm and large-capacity ammunition magazines and ordered held on $50,000 cash bail.
Two of the clips had 30 rounds of ammunition, while the third held 10 shots. Urbano told Port Authority cops that he bought both the Soviet-style rifle and the ammo for “recreational purposes.”
