Being so fast! Justin Bieber has yet again upset a few people. Pissing in buckets is one thing, talking s**t during a deposition is another thing, now his lack of knowledge has social media ready to slain him. Check out the details after the jump.
It’s clear that for this trip to Japan, JB didn’t educate himself on the culture. A controversial Japanese war shrine got mistaken for a place of prayer by The Biebs. He posted a pic of himself (in the gallery) standing in front of the Yasukuni Shrine and captioned it, “Thank you for your blessings.”
The Yasukuni Shrine honors those Japanese who died during war … including several imperial army who committed heinous war crimes. The shrine is a sensitive topic, particualry to the people in China and South Korea.
Of course, the photo has been taken down, but Justin did offer an apology.
“While in Japan I asked my driver to pull over for which I saw a beautiful shrine. I was mislead to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer. To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry. I love you China and I love you Japan.”
This is really bad. Surely, most of his fans are in China at this point. Tsk Tsk!
