After maintaining an online relationship with a woman that he believed to be a single, 21-year-old woman for three years, 22-year-old Vineet Singh decided that it was time to finally meet in person. And what better place than by a scenic waterfall near Jyoti Kori’s hometown of Jabalpur.
Scenic it was, but for all of the wrong reasons. Upon meeting Kori, it was revealed to Singh that she was not single, nor was she 21. In fact, she was a 45-year-old housewife and mother of 3. Instantly, Singh pulled out a gun, shot and killed Kori, before turning it on himself. After being rushed to a nearby hospital, Singh was pronounced dead.
