How can this not brighten your Thursday morning? The entertaining comedy movie of the 90s is making a comeback. The Golden Globe box office hit, Mrs. Doubtfire has a sequel on the way. Ecstatic! Drop down for more.
A cross-dressed Robin Williams plays a divorced dad who does everything he can to get back into his kids’ lives after the ex gains custody – including being a Scottish nanny. Made a gal want to hug her father once the movie ended.
A decade later, news of a sequel was released and while Mara Wilson – youngest who played Natalie – may not be to happy about the upcoming, we sure are.
“I’ve been in some mediocre movies, but I’ve never been in a sequel. And I have no interest in being in one now,” Wilson wrote in a series of tweets. “Sequels generally suck unless they were planned as part of a trilogy or series. I think Doubtfire ended where it needed to end.”
Robin is all in!
