Well in just ‘out of left’ field news, it appears that famed A-List actor Johnny Depp’s presence is being requested before the court of law. The top actor who’s enjoyed enormous success throughout his 20 year acting career, was subpoenaed last Thursday in the investigation of a murder case…
According to reports, Depp has been drug into a strange investigation, involving a woman by the name of Nancy Lekon , who back in 2009 was driving a limo in downtown L.A.’s Skid Row that allegedly mowed down a pedestrian, dragging her for a mile and killing her. The limo driver Lekon has been charged with murder, and will stand trial later this month. According to court docs Lekon has not pled guilty by reason of insanity.
The case gets really strange after Lekon told officers at the time of her arrest she was in a relationship with Johnny Depp and was in the area so they could rendezvous. The public defender who’s representing the allegedly deranged woman Lekon, now wants to call Johnny to the stand to show the jury she’s delusional.
Gee…I guess its not a total waste of Johnny Depp’s time to have to be summoned into the courtroom just to say you have absolutely no involvement or association with the crazed lady….
