Though it’s been confirmed that Big Sean and Naya Rivera have officially split and called off their wedding, there have been conflicting reports as to why. Some outlets have said that Sean fully admitted to cheating, and there have also been reports that in the midst of the split, he took back the Rolex he gifted her last year, which Naya allegedly (we don’t know if that tweet is real) considered “stealing.” A statement from Sean’s camp stated that the “recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue,” though they also didn’t clarify which rumors and accusations they were referring to.

A new report from a credible outlet sheds some insight on the situation, and says that Sean broke off the engagement because he was really not feeling Naya’s “violent fits of anger and jealousy.”

Apparently he made the decision weeks ago after going to couples counseling, where he realized he simply wanted out. Sources close to the former couple say that Naya demanded to know where he was at all times and would threaten him by saying things like, “If you don’t listen to what I say, I’ll ruin your career.” She was also allegedly suspicious whenever Sean was around women on tour, and “would work herself up into jealous rages…once breaking an expensive lamp during a rampage in his home.” Oh gawd!
