Last night, Chief Keef’s cousin and fellow GBE rapper Mario Hess, aka Big Glo and Blood Money, was pronounced dead. According to the Chicago Tribune, Glo was shot at least 10 times in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood. Law enforcement stated that the shooters opened fire near Elizabeth Avenue around 9:45 p.m. Glo’s manager, Renaldo Reuben, spoke to the Chicago Tribune about Glo and the violence in Chicago.
“It’s a lot of crime and violence in Chicago,” Reuben stated “he was basically trying to just get his Rap career together because that’s a good opportunity… he was trying to get the rest of this money and stay off the streets.”

In related, Migos may have sparked new problems with GBE due to a recent RT. The rap trio retweeted a post from a fan that suggested that Fredo Santana, Chief Keef and Lil Reese should address Migos about past beef. Not too long after, the group tweeted “Whatever you wit, we wit.” It didn’t take long for a fan to instigate, and Lil Reese replied with a warning shot on Twitter, along with a pic posted to IG of the rapper holding a gun with with a pretty obvious caption coming at the GBE trio.
The artists have been on bad terms since 2012 over some “sneak disses”, but it seems like a good time to squash the beef. With the tragic death of Glo and MANY more of their affiliates in recent years, no one wants to see even more bad news coming out of Chicago.
