Wow! How about that for a big payback. It seems that a clause in Craig Ferguson’s, the current host of CBS’ Late Late Show, contract could bring in a major raise if he’s overlooked as David Letterman‘s replacement. That major raise is between $8-$12 million! Check out the details after the jump.
Ferguson is in a completely win-win situation. The current host of CBS’ “Late Late Show” that follows after Letterman’s “Late Show” can either be considered for and rewarded the opportunity to host the historic show, or he can not and be granted a pay raise that ranges from $8 mil to $12 mil.
As far as the choice, seems like he’s in for a raise since CBS is hesitant to push the Scottish comedian against the likes of Jimmy Kimmel on ABC and Jimmy Fallon on NBC. SO far, Chelsea Handler‘s in the lead. She may be one of a few that can compete with the two Jimmys … No pun intended.
