“Scandal” star Columbus Short recently beat a dude into the hospital after a bar fight broke out at an engagement party in Cali, leaving the man with some really serious injuries to the back and head. However, the alleged victim refuses to press charges against Short due to “family ties.” The two want to settle things as peacefully as possible, leaving the law out of it, according to sources. What will most likely end up happening is Short will pick up the tab for all of the victim’s medical expenses (and probably throw him a little more for the inconvenience.)
