The 50 year old Hollywood veteran recalled his first acting gig, working as a telemarketer, and stated that the “beauty of it” was calling up complete strangers. Depp has come a long way from his telemarketer days, staring in Blockbuster movies. His new movie, “Transcendence”, hits theaters in April. When asked about reality television, here’s what he had to say:
“People get famous for I-don’t-know-what. People have reality shows because they’re a Hollywood socialite, and these things become very successful. It is like watching a fire. You can’t take your eyes off of it.”
