Wow. This gets pretty crazy. On March 20th, an Arizona woman, Shanesha Taylor, had been arrested and charged with child abuse. But that’s not even the half. The mother of two was arrested for leaving her young sons in her Dodge Durango with each of the windows slightly rolled down for over 45 minutes. It wasn’t until a waitress heard the crying 6-month-old, when she called the police. 45 minutes after the police arrived on the scene, the mother returns to the car. Her side of the story makes her fate hard to digest. Hit the jump for the full scoop.
First of all, Shanesha Taylor, the single mother of two, was homeless at the time. It’s reported that all she had was her two sons and the Dodge Durango in which they were sitting in. As she returned to the car, she was greeted by police who arrested her for “child abuse.”
However, Taylor left her children in the car while she was on a JOB INTERVIEW. According to sources, she said she didn’t have anyone else to care for the kids while she was on an interview at an insurance company. If you were unaware, the two charges will count as felonies. As of now, Taylor remains in jail, and her children have been put in the custody of Child Protective Services.
The situation regarding her arrest has led to numerous fundraisers for her court costs.
