Roddy White is a man of his word! He made a bet with a college basketball fan on twitter that Duke would beat huge underdog Mercer in the NCAA tournament. Well that didn’t work out as Mercer pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the tournament by beating Duke. Fans flooded White’s twitter with comments about honoring the bet that he made. He was supposed to give the fan seats at the 50 yard line for all Falcons home games next year. Well he did even better than that. Hit the jump.

Everyone’s been talking about it — Roddy promised Falcons fan Dylan Hoyt season tickets on the 50-yard line if Mercer beat Duke last week, but then tried to back out of the deal.

Now Dylan tells TMZ Sports Roddy’s coming up huge … offering him pre-game sideline passes to ALL the Falcon home games — AND his personal pair of tix to next year’s Super Bowl!

Roddy took a ton of heat for not paying up, but Dylan says … “He’s a great guy. It wouldn’t have mattered if he didn’t pull through, but this is a dream come true.”

Sometimes public shaming goes a long way, or as Dylan put it … “F***ing wild, right?”

White definitely did not have to do all that, but that is obviously the kind of guy he is.
