Damn, if Kobe was playing he probably could have had a 100 point night. Smh, C’MON KNICKS!!! I’m sick. The Lakers just mollywhopped my Knicks last night 127-96 at the Staples Center. They set a franchise record for most points in a quarter with 51 in the 3rd. Yes, Phil Jackson was in attendance and stole the show when he was spotted hanging out with Metta World Peace in a suite.
Check out some of the reactions and details of the game after the jump…

Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points for the Knicks, who have lost two straight after an eight-game winning streak. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 17 points and Amare Stoudemire had 16 in the Knicks’ seventh straight road loss to the Lakers since 2007.
“At the end of the day, it’s just individual pride,” said J.R. Smith, who had 12 points. “You have to have pride in guarding your man, guarding the ball, and we just didn’t have that the last three quarters.”

New president Phil Jackson dispensed with the pleasantries and didn’t mince words after witnessing the Knicks’ 127-96 blowout road loss to the Lakers on Tuesday.
“It was awful, huh,” Jackson said as he left the Staples Center, according to the The New York Times.
“They picked us apart,” Anthony said of the Lakers. “It’s disappointing. We didn’t compete.”
