In just plain strange news, Dutchman Ed Houben, a 46-year-old man residing in the Netherlands was a virgin up until the age of 34…. Fast forward 12 years later, Houben is the proud pappy of 98 children? Is this real life??
Yes this is real life. Ed was a virgin until the jaw dropping age of 34, and in 2002 he became a sperm donor. 12 years later, he is no longer taking a “hands-off approach” to helping women become with child. Let’s just say, Ed is fully involved and really on top of this cause. Pun intended. Ed Houben now days, lends his “services” to women in same sex relationships, as well as heterosexual couples who have had trouble conceiving. Houben believes in the old fashion way of getting the women impregnated, no turkey basters here.
In an interview with BBC Houben says: “What motivates me is meeting new people who turn out to be great, normal people and there’s some beautiful hope of creating a new life which will be loved and looked after.”
