This is sad teenage love story. Two teenagers in California were hit Friday after walking on train tacks and being hit by a train. The couple was walking to a Dollar Tree before heading to a school dance. Read more after the jump.
“It’s her first boyfriend, and her first love,” said Alithya Friend, sister of Mickayla Friend. Mickayla survived the hit but is said to be in serious condition. Her boyfriend was pronounced dead at the scene.
The engineer was on the horn,” witness Sean Stark said. “Then finally, they both looked back at the same time.”
He said the boy made a split second decision.
“They would have both been underneath that train if he didn’t push her out of the way at the last second,” Stark said.
