Today France has provided satellite images to Malaysia of what is thought to be remains of the missing flight MH 370. The images are from the southern corridor, near the Indian Ocean. China submitted satellite photos of the same area during a press conference on Saturday, believing it to be from the Malaysian plane. To read more, click below.
A Malaysian official, who wanted to remain anonymous because he isn’t authorized to speak to the media, stated the object from the French satellite pictures are about 575 miles north from the objects that China reported in their photos. The anonymous official also added that pictures France provided were very blurry and made it difficult to confirm the size of the objects. John Young, manager of AMSA’s emergency response division, reported that today will be another visual search for remains of the missing plane. Malaysian authorities have not ruled out any possible theories regarding the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines flight.
