Yikes!! The NFL is not going to like this. Colts Owner Jim Irsay was arrested and reportedly charged with DUI & possession of controlled substance. So much for him saying he doesn’t drink.

Officials confirmed Colts owner Jim Irsay was arrested and jailed over the weekend in Carmel, Ind.
Hamilton County Jail authorities said Irsay was arrested late Sunday night by Carmel police. He was booked at 3 a.m. Monday morning in the jail.
Irsay faces preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.
His bond is set at $22,500.

According to Kristine Guerra of the Indianapolis Star, Irsay was charged with four felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, after police found several prescription drugs in pill bottles in Irsay’s car.
Police said they found Schedule IV prescription drugs in his car. Schedule IV drugs are on thelower end of the substance abuse spectrum, according to the DEA’s guidelines, and includes sleep medications and Xanax among others.

Colts owner Jim Irsay has voluntarily checked himself into a “highly respected” health-care facility to undergo treatment, the team announced Tuesday.
Irsay faces four felony counts of possession of a controlled substance after being arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving in the northern Indianapolis suburb of Carmel late Sunday.
“(Irsay) is committed to undergoing the treatment and care necessary to help him meet his challenges head-on,” the team said in a statement. “Jim, the Irsay family, and the Colts organization are all deeply appreciative of the incredible outpouring of support and compassion from our fans and the Indiana community.”
