Another one bites the dust for Halle Berry, reports are that she and her husband Oliver Martinez have separated, they were married 9 months and have one child together. This will be the third divorce for the oscar winning actress after ending a four year marriage with David Justice in 1997 and another four year marriage with Eric Benet in 2005. Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry and her husband Olivier Martinez could be headed for splitsville.
According to a report in Daily News Confidenti@l, the couple has been living separately recently, despite marrying less than a year ago in July 2013 at Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France and welcoming a son together, Maceo in October.
The last time the couple was seen together in public was on Dec. 7, where they appeared to be unhappy as they took in a performance of The Lion King at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood.
The website speculates that the couple is drifting apart due to their hectic work schedules. Berry has been shooting her new CBS series Extant in Los Angeles, while Martinez, 48, has been working on a guest-starring role on ABC’s Revenge, with his first episode set to air this Sunday.
A rep for Berry reportedly initially issued a statement of “no comment” on the reports before denying they were true, while Martinez’s rep has yet to issue any statement.
If the marriage is over, this will be Berry’s third divorce. She ended a four-year marriage to baseball player David Justice in 1997, and later issued a restraining order against him, and her four-year marriage to singer Eric Benet ended in 2005 after he admitted to cheating. She also had a nasty split from former boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, with whom she has a five-year-old daughter Nahla.
