On friday Samsung announced ‘Milk Music’ to it’s line of Galaxy devices, this is a direct competition with iTune radio.
Powered by Slacker Radio, a prominent internet radio app, that allows certain Samsung Galaxy devices to access their 200 stations and 13 million songs. I like the set up, a little like Beats Music app, with customizing how you want to discover your playlists. Unique to Milk is the wheel that allows you to find the category you want as well as music, either use ‘Quick turning wheel’, or ‘Slow turning wheel’.

Being there are millions of Galaxy devices(But it’s only on the Galaxy S® 4, Galaxy S® III, Galaxy Note® 3, and Galaxy Note® II series), this may very well be the next big thing in music streaming…but all streaming has an issue, an artist needs to be broken, which Samsung seems to acknowledge with Milk.
“Milk Music introduces a fresh approach to music that reflects our innovation leadership and our focus on creating best-in-class consumer experiences,” said Gregory Lee, president and CEO of Samsung Telecommunications America and Samsung Electronics North America Headquarters. “We’re offering consumers amazing, rich music experiences built around what matters most to them and their lifestyle.”
“unique music programming from top selling and emerging artists available exclusively through Milk Music.”
