The talk of this years Grammy awards was Kendrick vs. Macklemore and the fall out from that nights events are fodder for conversation till this day. With Macklemore sweeping the Grammys that night, rap fans were in an uproar. Macklemore even sent Kendrick a text apologizing for his victory and posted it on Instagram. Some thought the text and IG post were self serving, even Drake voiced his opinion, but finally Kendrick shares his thoughts. Check out what he had to say below.
In Kendrick and ScHoolboy Q’s recent cover story with Billboard magazine, when asked about Macklemore’s post Grammy text, K.dot had this to say.
That text surprised me, but Macklemore is a genuine dude. However it panned out, I wish him much success. He touched people’s souls, and no one can take that away. Really, the whole Grammy moment was incredible. Not everyone gets that shot.
