Family says that the director/actor/writer passed away in his Chicago home early this morning due to complications of a rare disease. For more details, hit the jump.
Ramis passed away from autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, which involves the swelling of blood vessels. Health issues with the popular director began in 2010.
The movies that he created with remain greats! Rest in Peace Harold Ramis.
