Michael Vick might still be wearing green and white next season, it just might be a different shade. Yesterday there were reports the Jets were possibly looking at Bears back up quarterback Josh McCown, but apparently that has changed. According to NFL reports, the Jets are eyeing Vick as a quarterback on their roster. What isn’t so clear is if they plan on automatically making him the backup to Geno Smith, or will he have a chance to win the starting job. Smith showed moments of greatness last season as a rookie, but overall he played pretty poorly. It Sounds like talks have already begun within the Jets organization. Another thing is Vick’s old offensive coordinator from the Eagles, Marty Mornhinweg is now with the Jets and Vick is very comfortable with him. Hit the jump for more.
