The dunk contest was a snooze fest as people didn’t quite get the “Freestyle” round and the players were missing dunks in the “Battle” round but then John Wall took center stage and shut the show down.
Wall jumped over his mascot (named G-Man) then brung it down then back up for reverse slam! It was easily the best dunk of the night. He secured the sweep win for the East (Paul George beat Harrison Barnes & Terrence Ross beat Damian Lillard). Wall also got the fan vote for Dunker of the Night.
Of course ever the dancer, Wall had to hit the latest dance so he did the “Nae Nae”
