A Detroit Chef is proving that music and food is a match made in heaven, especially when the food is influenced by the music, or vice versa! A chef in the Detroit Golf Club, has made 10 course meal, inspired completely by Radiohead’s Album ‘Kid A’.
The notorious rock band Radiohead has been honored by Detroit Chef Kyle Hanley, with a full course listening and taste bud experience paying homage to the bands 2000 classic album ‘Kid A’.
Chef Hanley has paired each course, with each track on the album, arranging the meal around the title, feel and overall concept of the original song. For example:
“A “pan-seared diver scallop with yuzu fluid gel, fried cellophane noodle, lemongrass ponzu and chili oil” is paired with opening track “Everything In Its Right Place.” Moving on to the album’s title track, Hanley offers a “Black Caprese,” and moves through delectables including lamb chops with crispy pig ear, monkfish, duck breast and arugula salad before closing with a “mousse duo with blackberry pate de fruit” set to “Motion Picture Soundtrack.”
The inventive menu is sure to spark trends for foodies and music lovers everywhere. In the mean time **check out the full menu in the gallery above!**
